No short-cuts, no substitutes

I initially trained in Construction technology and management at Bristol Polytechnic, becoming a Member of the Chartered Institute of Building. I started my own main contracting business in 1982.

After gaining my law degree in 1996 I went on to complete my professional qualifications with Wragge & Co, a large commercial firm in Birmingham. I then moved to Veale Wasbrough in Bristol, where I quickly made Partner in the construction team.

In 2002 I decided to set up as a sole practitioner, to provide a truly bespoke personal service. This means that my clients' work is carried out by me alone (and not by juniors). It also ensures swift, personal service, informed advice and cost-effective solutions.
